Days like this can be bittersweet.

Today we acknowledge fathers of all kinds. Fathers filled with the sweet joy and pride celebrating this day for the first time as a father. Fathers honoring a child they never got to meet. Fathers who are now celebrating as grandfathers. Or great grandfathers. Fathers who have only memories of their child to hold on to today. Children and adults alike who are missing and remembering their father no longer physically here. The list goes on, feel free to add to it.
