Why am I sharing? I want to share more of what brings me joy, and belting it out in the car definitely hovers at the top of that list. I’m sharing because it’s what I do. This one is in honor of my brother, Ben, who we lost to suicide 11/11/14. Tomorrow is Ben’s birthday (post to come). I know this song is about lovers, but I cannot help but think about Ben now whenever I hear it. Without fail, right around this part, I get emotional. It doesn’t matter how happy I am or how far from thought Ben is, when this part hits, he is on my heart.

Wherever you are whatever you are doing, ask yourself if what you’re doing is bringing you closer to joy. If not, adjust. Life is about joy. I may be emotional here, but I feel in flow when I’m singing in the car. I’m in my happy place.
